New Member Induction - Past President Mary Murray conducted the ceremony. Kathy Williams introduced her guest and newest member Lynette Smith who is the GM at the new Comfort Inn in Adrian. Cograts and welcome, Lynette! 2022 District Conference- President Kathye was not at today's meeting as she was on her way to the District Conference on Mackinac Island. Can't wait to hear how the weekend-long event went.. 2022 Lenawee Bike Tour - REMEMBER: We want EVERY member involved in this premier club fundraiser in some capacity or another. Sad News - Longtime Adrian resident Don McCarthy's wife passed recently. Our condolences go out to him and his family. Strokes for Students - Rod P. announced that the outing will be tomorrow Monday, May 16th at the Tecumseh Country Club. He is looking for one more player. To play, the cost is $100 of which our club will pay half. Let Rod know if you'll be playing and he will select the foursomes. Launch Lenawee - Mary announced that anyone interested in participating in their Entrepreneurial Boot Camp #5 should let her know. This is for anyone looking to start their own business! Please visit launchlenawee.org Former Member Update - Yours Truly announced that he received a nice phone call from Rod Hokenson who said that he had had COVID but was in quarantine but that his beloved wife, Helen, was in Hospice Care not too far from when Rod lives.
