Annual Thanksgiving Lunch with Kiwanis

On the Wednesday before Thanksgiving Adrian Noon Rotary joined Adrian's Kiwanis Club for our annual joint Thanksgiving Eve meeting. This year Adrian's Morning Club also joined in the tradition.  Along with fellowship this event provides an opportunity for our clubs to assist a local chairity through the spirited fine session. Proceeds from this year's fine session were donated to the Daily Bread. Dick Germond did the Kiwanis fining, Jim Philp fined for Noon Rotary and Bruce Goldsen did the honors for the Morning Rotary Club.  And guess what showed up during the fine session? Our missing Rotary Four Way Test banner was apparently being held hostage by the Kiwanians!

The program was provided by the cast of the Croswell Opera House production of "Miracle on 34th Street." The producers Betsy and Michael Lackey introduced the youth choir of this production who entertained us by singing "Deck the Halls" and "Here's Love."
