Beth McCullough-Pajama Rama

    As a major supporter of Pajama Rama, Patty Clark was happy to bring Beth McCullough to the podium today.  As the Homeless Teen Liason for Lenawee and Monroe counties, Beth spoke of the miracles she is able provide with the funds from the Pajama Rama event.  A hard working family man came to her for help in turning his two children over to the State because they had no where to sleep.  Come to find out their predicament was to last only a week before they could move into another place.  Beth used Pajama Rama funds to put them up in a motel, buy $10 worth of gas for his moped and take care of dinner before they were able to get to the food pantry.

     Beth has been in this position for twelve years now.  She said these kids fall through the cracks and it is her job to look down there, find them, and get them back into school.  Education is the key to keeping them out of the cracks again.  She told of many kids she helped in high school who have now graduated from college....not surprisingly with social work degrees.
